Why waste a temper tantrum if nobody is around to see it?

  

AN finally decided that she’d HAD ENOUGH!!!!   On March 13, 2001 at 03:41 a.m. she posted a furious “Good Bye Cruel All Counties Chatter World” diatribe on her blog (not to be confused with the furious “Good Bye Cruel CCC world” diatribe that her husband had previously posted on her blog), lambasting those danged smart-aleck Liberals who were picking on her by:

1.  Making fun of her name;
2.  Mocking her daughter’s amazing multi-tasking superpower;
3.  Maliciously pointing out that by her OWN stated standard of “time spent posting on internet forums by wife = likelihood of husband being ball-less,” that, therefore, her own husband must be significantly lacking in the “package department,”

JUST like they constantly pick on that poor conservative heroine, Sarah Palin!!!!!

But, of course, she wasn’t having any sort of pity party, no sireee!!!  (Really, she wasn’t…really…truly…not at all…not in the least…)

And so she proceeded to close her forum to open commenting and required registration for commenting privileges. That’s right - she was limiting, to a very privileged few, the ability to comment on her highly successful forum that was reaching up to ELEVENTY SKILLION hits a DAY…no, make that an HOUR.   She informed those smart-aleck Liberals through her blog post that:

“I don't need you to feel important.  I am perfectly happy having the faithful and genuine members that I have and I will continue enjoying our dialog with each other without having to worry when my personal life will be the next butt of your jokes.”

So, THERE!!! THAT would show them…

Except…

One of those smart-aleck Liberals pointed out on another blog that, “After all, with the closing down of her forum to open commenting, AN's blog will surely lose a significant amount of views and then fade away slowly, but surely, into oblivion...
But such is the way of nature. Everything has its season, just like the month of March...in with a bang...out with a whimper.”

Uh, oh.  Apparently AN hadn’t thought of that.

But AN is a woman of strong, implacable, common-sense-conservative principles, dammit!  She would NEVER back down from her, “That’s it!  That’s my line in the sand,” position.

Except…

Never is a very, very, VERY long time…so naturally AN quietly (but in a very, very PRINCIPLED, but “low-key” manner) returned her forum to open commenting less than forty eight hours after she drew her “line in the sand.”

But, to be fair, after all, why waste a temper tantrum if nobody is around to see it?  Amirite?

Apparently AN doesn't realize that each of her blog posts has a date and time stamp: 
"Thanks for that, I find it very ironic that they spend so much time trying to analyze what I am doing and why. There is one in particular that follows my every move down to the time and date, and yet I could care less about her life or what she does on blogs or forums. I guess I should be flattered. You know it just kills their soul that I am doing so well with my blog and forum and if they get a couple of views a day they are lucky. Sorry gals...some got it..some don't. :)

Chicken Shit!!!

After "Anonymous" posted a comment on Goliath's blog calling him "Chickenshit" AN's CCC copycat forum, All Counties Chatter, has suddenly changed its open commenting policy to a "registration required" policy!

Perhaps Anonymous is confused about the meaning of the word, "chickenshit."
